KOBRI Exchange is developing a reliable youth football and cultural exchange between Egypt and Germany – together with schools, academies and families.
A Germany experience made accessible through football.
A deliberately small travel group experiences football training, local football culture, encounters with young people in Germany and selected educational and cultural activities in North Rhine-Westphalia.
The pilot is planned for both boys and girls, but in separate training and travel groups. Educational or cultural activities may be shared where appropriate supervision is in place.

Schools and academies help shape the organisational framework. Families can register their interest without making a booking.
Small, accompanied and deliberately provisional.
These points describe the current working concept. They become binding only after the partner, safeguarding and travel framework has been completed.
Arrival in Düren, check-in at the group hotel, welcome session, introduction to the week and shared group rules.
First group training session at the training base in Düren, introduction to the E&E training approach and orientation in the region.
Planned performance day with sports-science testing: sprint, jumping, agility and football-specific assessments followed by individual feedback on results.
Planned insight into professional youth development through a club/academy programme component in Cologne, combined with a cultural activity.
E&E training and a planned joint training or match format with a German youth team – using football as a space for encounter across language and background.
Experience North Rhine-Westphalia as a football region through a club, stadium or youth-football component, combined with a shared cultural and leisure activity.
Closing football format, individual sporting feedback and shared reflection on the week, followed by a closing session with players and chaperones.
Shared breakfast, final evaluation and feedback on the exchange week, check-out and organised departure.
Indicative sequence – individual programme elements involving external partners are still being coordinated and will be specified after final confirmation.

Each phase has a defined outcome. The pilot proceeds only when supervision, safeguarding, funding and partner responsibilities are robust.

Six questions to resolve before a partnership.
We show the current planning status openly. Binding commitments will follow only through the joint planning and contracting phase.
Supervision
Small, accompanied groups. The binding supervision ratio, named adults and contact arrangements will be agreed in writing with the sending institution before enrolment.
Safeguarding
A safeguarding and emergency plan with codes of conduct, parental consents, documented contacts and clear reporting routes is part of the pilot preparation.
Insurance
Travel health, accident and liability protection will be checked before any booking. Required evidence depends on the final travel and contract model.
Visa
E&E will provide confirmed programme and host documents for the application. Families or institutions submit the application; the responsible authority alone decides the outcome.
Accommodation
Supervised group accommodation in Düren or the surrounding region is planned. Safety, room allocation, transport, meals and group separation will be verified before selection.
Cost framework
A reliable price follows partner and travel planning in Q4 2026. Total price, inclusions and possible additional costs will be disclosed before any binding registration.
Boys and girls – in separate groups.
For the first pilot, reliability, group fit and genuine interest in exchange matter more than sporting prestige.
Young people from Egypt aged approximately 13 to 17.
Participants should enjoy football, be physically able to take part in sporting activities and be willing to follow binding group and safety rules.
No elite status required
Membership of a professional academy is not a prerequisite.
Separate travel groups
Boys' and girls' groups are planned separately for travel, football and accommodation.
Institutionally supported
Schools and academies can support selection, communication, preparation and group accompaniment.
What is real today – and what is being prepared.
